I have thought about putting it on ebay or BaT to see what it will bring but figured I would start here first. She has already requested a replacement title since she hasn't found the original one yet. His wife said Fred wanted me to have it but my plan is to sell it and give her the cash because I know she can use it. The only thing I can see is that he added a kill button when the original kill switch broke off. This ATC is about as original as you can get, the motor has never been apart or modified, it even has the tires that were on it when it was new. I don't know when it was started last and I haven' t tried to start it yet but I'm positive it will run. Needles to say he never rode this thing after, he would occasionally fire it up just long enough to piss off his neighbors and when he could no longer kick it over I would do it when I visited him. ![]() ![]() A handful of years later he needed a kidney transplant which he eventually got, then came the knee replacements. 30 years ago he began to have serious back issues and wasn't able to ride any longer but refused to get rid of this bike in hopes he would get better. We both bought 1986 ATC's, mine was a 350x, we were in our mid 20's at the time. This ATC belonged to my oldest and dearest friend who passed away a few weeks ago. ![]()
